Pusha T Uncovers Drake’s Hidden Son, Drake Shifts Blame to Kanye

The world was thrown for a loop when Pusha T, who works with Kanye West, dropped a diss track revealing Drake’s secret son. “You’ve got a whole kid that nobody knows about,” he rapped. But what was even more shocking was why Drake kept his son a secret in the first place. He had to do multiple DNA tests after supposedly getting two women pregnant, and the results weren’t definitive. “They couldn’t be 100% sure that was my son,” Drake explained.

This raised questions about whether Drake’s son was just a pawn in a bigger game. “Why would you drag my fiancée, family, and kids into this? That’s crossing the line.”

Pusha T also claims Drake paid for a concert brawl that left three people in the hospital. “This is the real story behind the headlines.”

Drake talked about the DNA test, saying, “The results came back and they couldn’t be completely sure he was my son. I was in a tough spot, not wanting to tell the world if it wasn’t true. When you see my son, you’d get it. I ended up linking up with Kanye, and he suggested I come to Wyoming for a March 14th event. I sent him a picture of my son and told him about the issues I was having with my son’s mother. We talked it through.”
Drake was still processing the shock of becoming a father when someone else spilled the beans before he had a chance to share the news himself. The bombshell came from Pusha T, who dropped a diss track revealing incredibly personal details about Drake’s new child and the child’s mother. The rumor mill quickly turned to Kanye West, suggesting he might have leaked the information to Pusha, given that Pusha is signed to Kanye’s record label. Even Drake seemed to think Kanye was behind it.

Drake expressed his frustration, saying, “Here I am, helping you out as a friend, and then you turn around and diss me on your album. It felt like a betrayal. There’s a cost to that.” But why would Kanye do something like this? To understand their falling out, we need to look back at their history.

Drake, who grew up without his father, looked up to Kanye as a major influence. “As a kid trying to figure out my own path, Kanye was the artist I connected with the most. I didn’t just want to match his success; I wanted to outdo him.” It must have been surreal for Drake when Kanye acknowledged him and called their relationship a crucial mentorship moment. Their friendship led to collaborations and even Drake moving into a house just a few blocks away from Kanye’s in Calabasas. But as Drake’s star continued to rise, it seemed like Kanye felt threatened.
“I was okay working with Drake until he became a huge star. That’s when I had to deal with this new energy he was bringing. There’s definitely a link between JTA and Drake, but some people wondered if Kanye was going after Drake just to keep his own spot at the top. At first, that seemed plausible. Kanye tried to clear things up, saying, ‘I didn’t leak any info about your baby or your baby mama. That wasn’t me.’ But when Drake dropped ‘In My Feelings,’ people started thinking it was about Kim. The fact that the song mentions ‘Kiki’ made it seem like there was something personal going on.

It’s easy to see why Kanye might think that way. A big song comes out during their feud, and it’s got his wife’s nickname in it. Drake even admitted he added that song to his album only after their fallout. Kanye felt Drake had crossed a line.

In a conversation with Drake, Kanye said, ‘You acted like you had an issue with me. People are spreading rumors about you and my wife, and you’re not doing anything to stop it. I’m not just a fan anymore; we’ve got personal problems now. I’m not going to sit by while you talk about me like that.’

Drake doesn’t confront issues head-on. Instead, he plays psychological games—like living close by or messaging everyone in your family. It’s all part of his strategy. Kanye felt he was evolving, becoming someone who was ready to push back when needed.”

It seemed like things were about to heat up beyond the diss tracks. The feud between Drake and Kanye—though not quite on the level of Pac and Biggie—was intense. It wasn’t a matter of life and death, but it was definitely a clash of egos driven by a misunderstanding. Drake’s anger was masking a deeper hurt; he felt betrayed by someone he considered a mentor. As Drake put it, “No matter what he says in interviews, or how he tries to spin it, he can claim he has love for me, but it’s not true. There’s something deeply troubling him, and I can’t fix it for him.”

While Drake was trying to come to terms with losing a friend, Pusha T came back into the picture, making things even worse. Pusha said, “Drake might think Kanye told me about his son and his personal situation, but that’s not how it went down. I was just being spiteful.” The back-and-forth between Pusha and Drake had been ongoing for years, but things took a personal turn when Drake crossed a line by mentioning Pusha’s fiancée. Pusha responded, “Why bring up my fiancée? No women, no children. What are we even doing here? It made me rethink who I was dealing with. I started digging into his past—‘Oh, your dad left you when you were five and never walked you to the bus stop. You don’t even know what family means.’”

Pusha had a lot of personal details about Drake, but it wasn’t Kanye who spilled the info; it came from Drake’s close friend and producer, 40, who let it slip. So while Pusha’s source was off, he did raise an interesting point. If Drake had to do a DNA test, why was he questioning the baby’s paternity in the first place?

Drake was hit with claims that he had fathered children with two different women. In April 2017, TMZ reported that Layla Lace was making false accusations about Drake being the father of her baby. This led Drake to sue her for defamation and extortion. Just ten days later, TMZ reported another claim from former adult film star Sophie Brussaux.

Drake reflected on the situation, saying, “It’s only natural to pause and confirm if I’m really the father.” His strained relationship with his own father, who had legal issues and served time in prison when Drake was young, drove him to want to be a better dad himself. He had to choose between continuing the conflict or focusing on his child, and he ended up writing a song about it but chose not to release it. “I said some things I regretted and realized I didn’t want to be remembered for that.”

Drake admitted that being involved in numerous feuds changed how he acted. “When you’re constantly in battles with others, it shifts your behavior. I put that energy into improving myself instead.” When Kanye extended an offer for peace, Drake agreed, choosing to focus on his own growth rather than continuing the rivalry.

“Drake and I have both taken shots at each other, but it’s time to put that behind us. I’m inviting Drake to join me on stage as a special guest. I think this event will show people everywhere how much more we can achieve when we set aside our differences and come together.”

It seems Drake has had a moment of clarity about what really matters. “I’m just really excited about being a great father. I have a son—he’s a beautiful boy. I can’t wait to show him off.” “We haven’t seen him yet, buddy.”

“I want to be able to go out and make memories with my son.” Drake is now ready to embrace fatherhood fully and focus on what’s truly important.
