Sources with direct knowledge told TMZ that at least one lawyer was contacted early in the week, and this wasn’t the first time. Apparently, back in October, one of Kanye’s reps reached out to a lawyer when TMZ first started reporting trouble in paradise. That lawyer passed on representing Ye.
Now, if they do file for divorce, things could get real messy. Why? Because there’s no prenup. And TMZ claims that Kanye has actually lost money since marrying Bianca. In California, assets and debts are split 50/50, meaning Bianca could actually owe him money. But let’s be real—did he lose that much money?
That being said, many of Kanye’s debts were tied to assets he had before the marriage, like his Malibu home. He reportedly lost tens of millions on that one, but Bianca wouldn’t be responsible for those losses.
