So, if you’re Jeezy, you’re still holding onto all of Jeannie Mai’s stuff. Like, you won’t even give her back her personal items—her Emmys, her trophies, her makeup, books, photos, handbags, shoes… pretty much everything that’s important to her.
Look, I know Jeannie has to be regretting the day she ever met Jeezy, but hey, at least she’s got Monaco now. Still, I bet she’s thinking that Monaco’s spirit would’ve come through somehow, just not in this way. Why did it have to be from the dad? Jeezy is really showing his petty side right now—like, that country, Atlanta man petty. He won’t give her back her Emmys just because he’s mad she left him, and now she’s out here still shining, still doing her thing with her baby, and she doesn’t even need his money. But don’t forget, Jeezy—you still owe her money for that baby.
And then there’s this whole security thing. Jeezy says he doesn’t feel safe letting Jeannie walk around his house, even though he’s got a million security cameras and stuff. But Jeannie blocked the security pit, and now he’s acting all upset? If you’re that concerned, Jeezy, just hire someone to follow her around the house instead of being so petty.
So, are those Emmys still in the house, or did he throw them out? Honestly, it’s no surprise with Jeezy. He acts the same way every time he ends things with a woman—he’s vengeful. My advice? Don’t date a man who’s got issues with his mom, especially if she never made things right with him. Those guys are unpredictable, and every woman ends up paying for whatever happened between him and his mom. I’m not saying Jeezy has those issues, but it sure seems like it, doesn’t it?
Apparently, Jeezy’s worried about his ex-wife Jeannie Mai walking through his house. He’s even asked the court to step in and set some boundaries for her upcoming visit. According to court docs from InTouch, Jeezy and Jeannie had been battling over furniture they bought during their marriage, and a few other things. Jeannie claims she still has stuff at the house that needs to be picked up. The two faced off in court in November, and the judge ruled that Jeannie has 21 days to grab her things—like her Emmys, trophies, makeup, shoes, books, photos, and other personal belongings.
Anyone who knows Jeannie knows her handbags and shoes are probably amazing, and those Emmys—yeah, she should definitely get those back! So, are they still in the house, or did Jeezy toss them? Why didn’t he just box everything up and ship it to her? Then she wouldn’t have to walk through the house. The judge gave her 21 days because Jeezy refused to ship her stuff. It’s honestly just petty. Jeezy’s being petty.
Jeannie actually won a Daytime Emmy in 2017 for her work on The Real, the show that was canceled. I miss that show! I used to watch it all the time. They should bring it back, and definitely with Tamar. They need to bring back the original crew, and Tamar’s doing well now, so maybe she’d be in a better headspace for it. It would be a fun reboot.
As for Jeezy, he asked the court to step in to avoid any issues. He said that, according to the court order, Jeannie will be allowed to walk through the whole house with an escort that he selects, to make sure all her stuff gets picked up.
Jeezy’s lawyer said the rapper is fine with Jeannie coming to his house to collect her personal belongings, but he has concerns about her having free access to the entire home. He claims that when she came by in September 2023, shortly after their split, Jeannie downloaded parts of the security footage, which showed him locking all the doors while holding a weapon. Jeezy believes she used that footage to make him look bad, even using it to try to justify preventing him from spending time with their daughter. Given Jeannie’s history of allegedly spreading false information about him to damage his career, Jeezy doesn’t feel comfortable having her in his house. He worries she might plant listening devices or cameras.
His legal team has painted Jeannie as angry and vengeful, saying she’s lashing out because of their divorce. They claim that having her in his home would disrupt his peace and invade his privacy.
But here’s the thing: Jeezy often brags about his wealth. If he’s so concerned about safety, why not just hire extra security instead of making all these demands? Instead, he wants Jeannie to only collect the boxes he packed for her, not walk around freely.
Jeannie’s lawyer called this request cruel, pointing out that she had to leave her life in Los Angeles to live in their shared home, only to now face more obstacles in retrieving her belongings.
Jeannie, you’ve been through this before with Freddy, so you know what a vengeful man can do. But Jeezy’s actions are making this whole situation even harder than it needs to be.
As we reported earlier, Jeannie filed a petition for contempt back in September, accusing Jeezy of not sticking to the terms of their divorce settlement. The divorce agreement, which they both signed in June, outlined several financial responsibilities that Jeannie says Jeezy hasn’t followed through on. In her petition, she mentioned that he didn’t pay the $4,000 for daycare and school expenses, failed to deposit half a million dollars into an account for their daughter Monaco, and didn’t pay $92,000 for her rent—just half of what she was owed. She also claimed he didn’t transfer the titles of the Range Rover and Ford Bronco to her, which was part of the agreement.
Jeezy didn’t take kindly to the accusations, calling them out as blatant misreports. He admitted that he was supposed to pay Jeannie’s rent for a period after the divorce, but he said the lease agreements she provided were hard to verify. Jeezy also claimed Jeannie didn’t give him receipts for the childcare expenses and that the DMV was taking longer than expected to transfer the car titles.
Jeezy and Jeannie split in March 2021, and Jeezy filed for divorce in September 2023, asking for joint legal and physical custody of their daughter. The divorce turned messy when Jeannie accused Jeezy of having a temper and being physical with her a couple of times during their marriage. Jeezy has denied these claims, just as he has denied similar accusations from previous relationships.
Honestly, this whole situation is a red flag, and Jeannie’s experience should serve as a warning. It’s clear she’s been through a lot, and if you’re thinking about dating Jeezy, you might want to take note. In my opinion, he’s an older, grumpy guy who hasn’t learned to move past his selfish ways. It seems like he’s dragging every woman he’s with into his drama. So consider this a heads-up—let Jeannie Mai’s experience be a lesson for others.
